Strategic B2B agenda projects 13,500 business meetings with global buyers
Barcelona Wine Week (BWW) is set to return to the Montjuïc venue from February 2–4, featuring over 1,300 exhibitors—a 4% increase from 2025. Representing 90 Designations of Origin (DOs), the trade fair is poised to facilitate nearly 13,500 meetings between producers and top-tier buyers from Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

Barcelona, 19/01/26
The upcoming edition will showcase the breadth of Spanish viticulture, featuring prestigious DOs such as Ribera del Duero, Rioja, Priorat, Montsant, Rueda, Cava, Jumilla, La Mancha, and Alicante.
Confirmed exhibitors at Fira de Barcelona’s Pavilions 1 and 8 include industry giants such as Torres, Vallformosa, Lan, Matarromera, José Pariente, Marqués del Atrio, Raventós Codorníu, Grandes Pagos de España, Araex, Juvé & Camps, and Freixenet. The 2026 roster also welcomes newcomers like Grupo Osborne and the DO Rueda, alongside hundreds of SMEs, 300 micro-wineries, and emerging artisanal projects.
Geographically, Catalonia leads the presence with 320 wineries, followed by Castilla y León (260), La Rioja (105), and Castilla-La Mancha (75). Notably, the fastest-growing regions this year are Andalusia (66 wineries), Murcia (40), and Asturias (6). To accommodate this growth, the exhibition floor has expanded by 9% to a total of 10,800 square meters.
High-Impact Hosted Buyer Program Targets 880 Professionals
To maximize commercial ROI for exhibitors, BWW has strengthened its Hosted Buyer program in partnership with ICEX Spain Trade and Investment.
This edition will bring together over 880 key decision-makers from strategic global markets.
Prominent distributors in attendance include Divin (Canada), Delta Wines (Netherlands), Global Wines & Spirits(Colombia), and Imperial Beverage (USA), alongside major retailers such as Coto (Argentina), NSLC (Canada), and Huge (Japan). Domestically, BWW will attract over 1,000 Spanish buyers from large-scale distribution, specialized retail, and the HoReCa channel—the primary route to market for Spanish wines.
“BWW has established itself as an essential fixture on the global calendar,” says Javier Pagés, President of BWW and the DO Cava. “It is the definitive hub where Spanish wineries and international buyers meet to generate real business opportunities and share a common vision for the future of the industry.”
Focus on Heritage: Celebrating Wine Sagas and Global Expertise
The 2026 edition will pay tribute to the multi-generational families behind the vines, featuring prominent names like Torres, Vega Sicilia, Gramona, Artadi, and José Pariente. These sessions will explore how heritage and generational renewal drive innovation in today’s market.
The fair’s extensive program includes 80 sessions and 136 national and international experts. A major highlight is the participation of Jancis Robinson MW, Financial Times columnist and one of the world’s most influential critics, who will lead a tasting titled ‘Tradition and Innovation: From Past to Present’.
The event will also feature eight Masters of Wine, including Lenka Sedlackova, Almudena Alberca, and Jonas Tofterup. BWW looks to build on the success of its February 2025 edition, which hosted 1,266 wineries and nearly 25,700 professional visitors, 20% of whom were international.
